These realistic predator kites beat their wings, bank on the air and soar to new heights emulating a bird in flight.
From a distance it is hard to distinguish a real bird from one of these kites.

Ideal for orchards and vineyards as they encourage other predator birds

1100mm wingspan
Made from Tyvek
Very lightweight but tough
Suited for up to 50km/h winds

Kite is best flown from a telescopic pole.

Can also hang in entry ways as a visual deterrent

Osprey Hawk

This is our second bird kite purchased to deter the very rapid nest building starlings which seem to love machine engines.
It flies beautifully and the starlings are definitely lessening.

Great product

Osprey bird scarer works much better than anything we have tried over the years. Since installing it instead of having up to 50 birds eating the seed we now have none.

Third Bird Purchased

The first bird was so authentic we had the SPCA turn up after a member of the public reported a distressed bird attached to a fishing line. Needless to say both the SPCA officer & myself had a wee chuckle at that one.
The Birds work very well, we move between two types of bird to keep the Seagulls guessing & this seems to be more effective. The first one did get hammered in a storm when it was left out overnight (not recommended) but now the staff know that Huxtable the Hawk or Felicity the Falcon must come in at night time. Would recommend to anyone with a Seagull issue.

Falcon

Seems to be effective at the moment. Will remain to be seen if the birds get wise to it.
